What would be a good job to take in the Coast guard if I wanted to get into something in the medical field?
After I get out?, Also I don't want to do something that will evolve being in a helicopter. |||USCG has corpsmen. The corpsmen rate is health health service technician. Are you sure you don't want helicopter-related duties? Aviation survival technicians become qualified as EMTs in addition to their USCG rating. Everybody working at a search and rescue station, boatswains mates and machinery technicians and non-rates assigned to the boat crew, receive first aid training.

If i wanted to study Greek mythology as a job,What would be the job title.?
Im 14 and Greek and Roman mythology has always interested me. I wanted to know what a few job titles might be and their average salaries.|||Greek mythology is known today primarily from Greek literature and representations on visual media dating from the Geometric period dating from c. 900-800 BC onward.[4]

What is considered keyboarding...is it just the skills someone has in typing?|||Keyboarding is the new name for typing. After all, typewriters have disappeared. We all use keyboards now.
You need to be OK with Word and some Excel skills would be good. You need to know the alphabet (in order) and be able to add two single digit numbers in your head.

I applied for a job I really wanted and got an interview?
I feel I answered really well. At the end of it she said I'd like to let you know your interview went really really well I'm very impressed! She said I still had a few to interview because so many applied but if you were unsuccessful know that I'm extremely impressed and I will let you know either way but I'm very happy. I don't know what to think would you feel you had the job in the bag?|||I've been in your situation time and time again, heard that same thing again and again and didn't get the job each time. It's definitely not a guarantee. I don't like that they lead you on, but that's the way it is. It sucks. If they don't call by the time they say so, call back to let them know you're still interested. I also just read on the internet about e-mailing them a thank you letter to them including things you may not have said in the interview, I think it's worth a try.|||You apparently did great. Good for you. If this lady who interviewed you was a Human Resources representative, most likely she has very little power to make a hiring decision. She warned you that "if you were unsuccessful in getting the job..." so that you knew that the decision was to be made by someone else, probably the supervisor of the future employee. So, your chances are 50/50. Keep your hopes in perspective and keep looking somewhere else. Also, keep in mind that about 70% of the jobs are never advertised, so, show up at companies you like, and ask to fill a job application. God bless!!!|||She could be telling you the truth or she could be shining you on. Human Resources people might say this to every applicant, just to get them out of there with a smile. The job isn't in the bag until you get that phone call telling you the job is in the bag.

I have a feeling current employers say and do certain things in order to prevent you from getting another job so they can keep you. Is this true or false? like I'm not getting enough hours each week to make a living so I tried for another job which potentially offers more hours and used my employer as a current work referee because thats what is expected of me...

I remember this girl left work, and she wrote down my boss as a reference, my boss got a phone call out of the blue, and my boss lied and said she was just a secretary, lied through his teeth even though she was working all my boss work as account manager. My boss really screwed her. Dont trust your HR or your boss, find someone else you trust at work.

I have always wanted to do a summer job in a fun national park or something similar?
But I will be graduating next May with my four year degree. The amount I have in loans is under 10,000 and it is all loans that I won't have to pay interest for six months on.
Is it to late to do something like this?|||You could undoubtedly get a job in one of the National Parks for the summer season next year, a good time filler if you plan to attend graduate school in the fall. The jobs are often rather menial and do not pay well, but they allow you to live in some really beautiful places and sometimes to do interesting things.
Full time careers with the parks can also be really satisfying.

I want to run a fun and free challenge among the staff at my church but I am not sure how to assign points to each round. Is there a standard point system to use?|||there's various ways to do it, not really a standard way. ive been in pools ranging from 1,2,4,8,16,32 (which is kinda top heavy) to 1,2,3,4,5,6 (which is way too bottom heavy)
