What would you study or major in if you wanted a job as a producer of some sort of t.v. or radio program?

I am interested in communications but thats a broad area. I know you'd have to work your way up but if anyone currently hold a similar position of any capacity I am interested in how you got there.|||Media %26amp; Social Communications - major in TV/Radio Programme.
