What is the price range if you wanted to get your car custom painted one color? (say pink), and does pink cost more than other colors?|||If you're just spraying one color, it's not really "custom" usually custom is more than one color and.or designs like flames or graphics. It may be a non-original color, but to me that's not really "customizing".

The painter or body shop will know if a color will be expensive or not, there is usually only small differences in price for different colors, most often no difference. Some of the more exotic types of paint can be pricey, like pearls, heavy metalflakes, or flip-flops.

You may have some more costs involved in changing colors because of semi-hidden areas like door and trunk jambs that you will also want painted the new color so it doesn't look stupid when you open the door for example.
