What would be a good job for me if I wanted to work for the government?

I always was able to think of myself as being a doctor, but I was also able to see myself being a translator. I also wanted to work in a foreign country for some reason. But I thought that it would be nice to get a job for the government and work with foreign languages and negotiate with other countries.
