I'm on holiday at the moment, and I'm still looking for a job.|||what job position in a cafe need a resume ????
if u can speak good english and more language to communicate with the customer , i don see a waiter or waitress need a resume .
hope the posisition u looking for is not a waiter or waitress. :-)
of course personality is very important for this kind of service line.|||The trick when writing your resume is to try and show the skills which you have , and which you will know what the prospective employer will want. The way to start is to try and list the skills and experience that you think the cafe owner might want. I do not have a clue what it can be, but as an example lest say he is looking for someone who:
Can deal with money;
Can deal with clients;
Can work flexible hours....etc.
In your resume, then highlight areas that prove you are honest and trust worthy e.g. You have already worked as a cashier, OR you were treasurer of a club at school;
For dealing with clients you can highlight things like you being a very sociable person, societies which you belong to .....
Flexible hours you can mention you live close to the cafe and can walk to and from work, do not have kids or husband and can work flexible hours etc.
Remember to write the resume in such a way that the employer KNOWS you are the best for the job.
DO NOT LIE|||academic records, work experience, your desire for work and its purpose.
